999_PromoStills_SH054We are big Disney Junior and Doc McStuffins fans in our home and even have our very own Big Book of Boo Boos that we keep around to record incidents that have happened and require a diagnosis and a remedy, “Doc-style” of course.

big-book-of-boo-boos

big-book-1This poor stuffed poodle at our house was missing an ear and diagnosed with “One Earia“. Luckily, the remedy was a simple one…”Sew it back on”!  There was also one time when *someone (I won’t name any names) burned their tongue on hot cocoa  and was diagnosed with “Burnitosis“! It was a pretty easy remedy though…”Drink water“!

big-book-2When a big box arrived on our doorstep the other day, Emi got really excited to open it! Inside, she discovered a entire Doc McStuffins place setting! So cute! I think it’s going to make eating extra fun!

Eliza J Dresses Speak My Love Language!

socal-winterIt’s hard to really complain about winter here in Southern California because most days are beautiful and sunny. When the chilly weather does finally roll around, I get to bundle up in warm sweaters, jeans, and boots. However, I’m going to be honest though…I  just pretend that I love dressing for winter! It’s fun to bundle up like that for about 5 whole minutes!  As soon as I start to see spring fashions pop up in the months of December and January, I get crazy excited and I think it makes me instantly ready to fast forward to spring already!

love-language-2This spring I plan on spending a lot of time with Eliza J dresses! Not only with them but wearing them! Have you seen their line of dresses? Just take one look at their Instagram and you’ll be as enamored as I was! I swear Eliza J dresses speak my Love Language!

elizaj-instagramThe Eliza J Instagram page is too cute for words!

Eliza J dresses are made with such beautiful prints and fabrics, each developed by talented artists and are feminine and unique. I love all of the different styles of dresses. They have every ingredient for being labeled as “that perfect dress” in your closet! From day to evening, they are the perfect fit for today’s modern form. They’re available in regular, petite & plus-sizes, and each one is designed to make a woman look fabulous and “feel pretty“!

feel-prettyAfter combing through Pinterest, Instagram, and the Eliza J site, I think I’ve come up with some of my favorite Eliza J dresses for this spring! One of the fun parts about living in sunny SoCal is that I can get away with wearing any one of these dresses in the day or night. It’s so easy to change their look a little by just swapping out accessories and shoes!

elizaj-stripes-and-dots-dressI love the combo of black and white with stripes & dots on this dress with the overlay!

elizaj-floral-and-dots

I also love the combination of black, floral & dots on this dress! It, too, has that pretty overlay!

elizaj-black-and-floralHow fun are these springy florals? This picture makes me want to dress up with of my girlfriends in Eliza J!

elizaj-stripes-with-floralSince I am usually a very “matchy-matchy” person, I LOVE LOVE the stripes with floral on this one!

elizaj-long-dotsHow adorable is this gown? Guess what? It has pockets, too!

I think you can probably see a recurring theme here with my picks? I’m always a fan of black but am also loving the combination stripes and dots. Of course florals are always traditional for spring, too. I love dresses that fall just above the knee but am also fond of the long gown length. I could go on for hours about my favorite Eliza J dresses! In case you wanted to see some of my other picks, I also put together an Eliza J Pinterest board! It’s no wonder this line is a favorite of fashion bloggers everywhere!

So have YOU picked out a favorite Eliza J dress for spring yet? Was it one of the ones I picked out?

Eliza J is available at Nordstrom, Lord and Taylor, Dillard’s, House of Fraser, Von Maur and specialty stores. Connect with Eliza J on Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram!

M&M’s® Crispy Are Back! Best Comeback EVER!

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #CrispyIsBack #CollectiveBias

best-comeback-ever

Let’s talk about one of my favorite subjects…M&M’s®! I’m probably one of the biggest fans of these delicious chocolate candies! I love all things M&M’s® and always hurry to try any and all of the new flavors that come out. They are my favorite go-to snack, a movie theater necessity (as a mix-in for my popcorn, of course) and something I love to incorporate into any special occasion and holiday!

so-good-theyre-backIt was such exciting news to hear that M&M’s® Crispy were coming back!   I have no idea how I missed M&M’s® Crispy the first time when they were around in the 90’s though? Did you try them when they were last available? Watch this adorable  M&M’s® “Fans” Commercial sharing the big announcement!

As soon as started seeing the tweets and articles about them and after I watched this, I headed straight over to Walmart to grab my very own stash of M&M’s® Crispy! I may have missed them in the 90s but I was determined not to let that happen again!

checkout-aislesI found the bright green “Share Size” bags in the checkout aisles! They’re perfect for sharing with a friend or someone fun in your life! M&M’s® Crispy contain only 180 calories per serving. They are also available in a big bag in the candy/baking aisle. Whatever the case, I stocked up on a bunch of the share-size bags, just in case they ran out. I’m sure once the word gets out to everyone, they’re going to be flying off the shelves!

FullSizeRender (89)M&M’s® are something I grew up loving as a child. Now that I’m a mom, there’s an even greater significance behind them. My daughter’s name is “Emily” and early on, we started calling her “M & M” for short. At age 3, she even made a connection between her nickname and the candies and it just sort of stuck. She, too, has grown up loving M&M’s® just as much as I do. FullSizeRender (91)Our love for M&M’s® runs deep. I can’t think of a more perfect person to share my new M&M’s® Crispy with! Since we try to set aside some quiet time after school each day to read, I think the next time we do so, I’ll break out one of my share-size bags to share with her while we read.

not-so-quiet-reading-timeOf course, with the delicious crunch inside each one, I’m not sure how “quiet” our reading time will actually be, but I’m OK with that! (and I’m sure she will be too).

I-love-youI also plan on stashing a few bags in my purse to take to my classroom. Sometimes I need a pick-me-up right around 1 o’clock in the afternoon, which happens to be my last hour of teaching each day. It’s going to be a little tricky to eat them during class time without my students hearing the crunch. Oh well, I’ll figure out a way.

Have YOU gotten a chance to try M&M’s® Crispy yet? If not, guess what I’m going to tell you to go do…like right now? You guessed it! (Go grab some of your own!)

See more great M&M’s® Crispy recipe and party ideas on the M&M’s® Crispy social hub where you can also download a coupon to save on your M&M’s® purchase.
