I’ve partnered with Ontario Mills® to bring you this post. All opinions are 100% my own.

There are over 200 stores to choose from there plus a variety of eateries. Here are just some of the stores you’ll find at Ontario Mills®:

Tommy Hilfiger Company Store
Abercrombie & Fitch Outlet
Nike Factory Store
As summer comes to a close, we’ve been doing a ton of shopping to get everything we need for the new school year. Between clothes, shoes, accessories, backpacks, etc, the list just never seems to dwindle.Since I have a daughter who loves shopping, she kept me on my toes by wanting to stop and shop in all of her favorite places. I now know what they mean when they say “Shop ’til you drop”! You’re guaranteed to work up an appetite while you’re there. If you’re interested in full-service restaurants, you’ll find Market Broiler and Rainforest Cafe. There’s also a giant big food court area where you can grab something a little quicker and sit down to enjoy it.With the way that styles and trends change so quickly, I’m grateful to have a center like Ontario Mills which offers fashion at great prices. Then it doesn’t seem so devastating when something goes out of style after only a few months, and you need to go buy new things. I highly suggest you set aside an entire day when you visit Ontario Mills because you’ll probably want to spend an entire day there like we did. I wasn’t sure where to start so we just started on one end and worked our way through the stores. There’s also a Dave & Buster’s and a GameWorks inside, as well as the Improv Comedy Club & Dinner Theatre and an AMC 30 Theatres. See? I told you they have everything at Ontario Mills®!

This post was written in collaboration with JCPenney. All opinions are 100% my own. #SoWorthIt #ad
I can’t believe it’s back-to-school season already! Where did the Summer go? We tried to make the most of our last days off with a trip to the beach and a couple of other fun things but I just can’t believe school is starting. JCPenney always helps us ease back into the school year by offering all of the “basics” that kids need to start the school year right at affordable prices. I shopped there when I was a kid and now I shop there with my own daughter. JCPenney is a one-stop shop for the whole family! When we were in the store, shopping for this school year, she found a ton of looks including Arizona denim pieces. They have jackets, skirts, tops and jeans and shorts, which are pretty much all kids want to wear these days anyway. She picked out a pair of Arizona denim shorts (since we live in California and she can get away with wearing them to school), a cute Arizona top, and a denim jacket. I thought it was kind of ironic that she wanted to wear a denim jacket with shorts, but whatever works, right? I don’t know if it was more difficult to get her back-to-school look right (since moms don’t seem to know what’s cool) or to grab a decent picture of her in the outfit? Luckily, we finally got her look and the picture! What do you think? Adorable, in my opinion! Did you know that JCPenney is offering some great deals on the latest trends for BTS on “Penney” Fridays and Saturdays? Yep! Look for these deals on August 19 and August 20, Also on “Penney Saturday” this week, you can grab the $13 Arizona kids jeans and $17 Arizona jeans deal. What great prices on something that’s already an everyday value. (By the way, if you play Pokemon Go, and tell an associate or show them an in-app favorite character, you can receive an addtional 15% off coupon.)
I love JCPenney and was excited to learn about its national partnership with the YMCA. JCPenney believes in supporting moms and their kids, and through this partnership with the YMCA, they will be able to support the community through grants and donations, volunteerism, events and shared expertise. The partnership with the Y kicked off with a special Back-to-School community event for teens participating in YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles, which included Arizona Jeans fittings and giveaways, vision screenings, salon services, and entertainment, including a guest appearance by Vanessa Lachey. JCPenney provides opportunities to its associates by connecting them with their local Y branch to volunteer in many ways such as supporting summer camp activities, helping with youth programs, doing community clean up and tutoring or mentoring. I love any company that encourages and supports “giving back”!
So, have you finished up your Back-to-School shopping yet? What were some of your kids’ favorite finds?
I’ve partnered with Simon Malls on this post. All opinions are 100% my own.
I do my best “work” under pressure, a.k.a. at the last minute! Can you relate? Luckily, I have a ton of options for picking out gifts at The Shops at Mission Viejo. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably see me post from “My Mall” often. It’s like the best place to shop! (and I’m not just saying that because it’s next to my house!) Luckily for me, most gift receipts don’t carry a time stamp on them, so the receivers will never know just how last minute I shopped! With Father’s Day just around the corner, on Sunday, June 19, I headed over to The Shops at Mission Viejo to look around and grab something for all of the dads in my life! There was almost too much to choose from! Here are some of the great Father’s Day gift ideas I found. You can never go wrong with clothes! These are some of the looks I found at Express Men, Vans, The Gap, and Old Navy.
For the sports loving men, you’ll find team hats and jerseys and lots of other merchandise at LIDS.
Men always love new sunglasses. Sunglass Hut has hundreds of styles to choose from.
There were a ton of different gift choices for the caffeine-loving dads in your life! Teavana has so many teas to choose form and you can taste a bunch of them when you visit the store. They had a lot of different environmentally friendly travel mugs, as well as drink and water holders. There’s a Starbucks located inside of the Dining Pavilion where you can grab a cute Father’s Day giftcard. If you’re looking to do some last minute Father’s Day shopping of your own, why not check out the stores directory ahead of time, so you can get an idea of where you’ll head once you get to The Shops at Mission Viejo. You can also stop by Guest Services, which is located in the center court of the mall, and pick out a Simon gfitcard! Those are one size fits all!
I’m also hosting a giveaway where one of my lucky readers can win one (1) $100 giftcard! Enter on the Rafflecopter below. Good luck and thanks for reading! Happy Shopping! a Rafflecopter giveaway
The Outlets at San Clemente are now open and I couldn’t be more excited! I think all South Orange County moms have been waiting patiently, some time now, for them to be completed. I have driven by the construction several times during it’s duration and to see the final product completed calls for a celebration! The Outlets at San Clemente is Orange County’s first and only ocean-facing outdoor outlet shopping and dining destination. It features a collection of leading designer and name-brand retailers such as Calvin Klein, Cole Haan, Columbia Sportswear, GUESS, H&M, Levi’s, Nike, PUMA, Tilly’s, Tommy Hilfiger, Under Armour and White House Black Market. Visitors can enjoy favorite fast-casual eateries, including Panera Bread, Ruby’s Diner and Starbucks. Additional stores and restaurants will open throughout 2016. The center welcomes tail-wagging visitors, as long as they’re on a leash.
The promenades and courtyards at the center are all beautifully decorated with holiday décor, including a live, fresh-cut Christmas tree from Mt. Shasta decorated with 3,000 twinkling lights.
It’s the perfect setting to take annual Santa photos and create fond holiday memories together. Southern California families are going to quickly adopt the brand new Outlets at San Clemente as their favorite destination.
So, after a day of eating turkey, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie, watching football and spending time together, you are invited to start their holiday shopping at their its inaugural Moonlight Madness all-night shopping extravaganza. Although the day after Thanksgiving has been considered traditionally as Black Friday, why not get a head start by taking advantage of door-buster offers and holiday savings? Door will open at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving, Nov. 26. Shops will remain open all night and throughout Black Friday on Nov. 27 until 10 p.m.
There will also be a special entertainment schedule during the Moonlight Madness Event as follows:

Braintastics, a unique new program for kids that fosters brain development in a fun-filled environment, has opened its first location at Kaleidoscope in Mission Viejo. Based on a national movement dubbed S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Education, Arts and Math), the focus of Braintastics is to provide more science and technology exposure to kids to foster brain development and help with educational advancement.
Braintastics was created by Heidi Landraf, who through her own brain research in her Masters program and her experience within a classroom, saw a need for a program that gives kids the time and space to explore their curiosities. Heidi has partnered on Braintastics with Cheryl Beck, owner of Bold Girlz, also at Kaleidoscope, since Cheryl’s mission is focused on building self-esteem and empowerment.
Braintastics offers an environment for true brain development and cognitive growth while having fun in a setting that is inviting, stimulating, and exciting. It’s hard to really complain about winter here in Southern California because most days are beautiful and sunny. When the chilly weather does finally roll around, I get to bundle up in warm sweaters, jeans, and boots. However, I’m going to be honest though…I just pretend that I love dressing for winter! It’s fun to bundle up like that for about 5 whole minutes! As soon as I start to see spring fashions pop up in the months of December and January, I get crazy excited and I think it makes me instantly ready to fast forward to spring already!
This spring I plan on spending a lot of time with Eliza J dresses! Not only with them but wearing them! Have you seen their line of dresses? Just take one look at their Instagram and you’ll be as enamored as I was! I swear Eliza J dresses speak my Love Language!
Eliza J dresses are made with such beautiful prints and fabrics, each developed by talented artists and are feminine and unique. I love all of the different styles of dresses. They have every ingredient for being labeled as “that perfect dress” in your closet! From day to evening, they are the perfect fit for today’s modern form. They’re available in regular, petite & plus-sizes, and each one is designed to make a woman look fabulous and “feel pretty“!
After combing through Pinterest, Instagram, and the Eliza J site, I think I’ve come up with some of my favorite Eliza J dresses for this spring! One of the fun parts about living in sunny SoCal is that I can get away with wearing any one of these dresses in the day or night. It’s so easy to change their look a little by just swapping out accessories and shoes!
I love the combo of black and white with stripes & dots on this dress with the overlay!
I also love the combination of black, floral & dots on this dress! It, too, has that pretty overlay!
How fun are these springy florals? This picture makes me want to dress up with of my girlfriends in Eliza J!
Since I am usually a very “matchy-matchy” person, I LOVE LOVE the stripes with floral on this one!
How adorable is this gown? Guess what? It has pockets, too!
I think you can probably see a recurring theme here with my picks? I’m always a fan of black but am also loving the combination stripes and dots. Of course florals are always traditional for spring, too. I love dresses that fall just above the knee but am also fond of the long gown length. I could go on for hours about my favorite Eliza J dresses! In case you wanted to see some of my other picks, I also put together an Eliza J Pinterest board! It’s no wonder this line is a favorite of fashion bloggers everywhere!
So have YOU picked out a favorite Eliza J dress for spring yet? Was it one of the ones I picked out?
Eliza J is available at Nordstrom, Lord and Taylor, Dillard’s, House of Fraser, Von Maur and specialty stores. Connect with Eliza J on Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram!
